Luton Airport Expansion

.

A group of concerned folk have set up a campaign called “HALE” ( Hertfordshire Against Luton Expansion) to counter the effects of the plans by Luton Borough Council to double capacity at Luton Airport. Their concern is based on the assertion that Herts suffers most of the noise and pollution from Luton flights but receives none of the cash they generate.

There is a web-site at www.hale.uk.net where HALE is endeavouring to inform the public about the other side of the argument put forward by Luton BC.

HALE is encouraging people to post replies on the web-site, and are drawing attention to the fact that the
preliminary consultation ends on 26th March. People therefore need to engage and have their say.
