Taylor Wimpey are holding a Public Exhibition of detailed plans for the first phase of the proposed development on the fields around Egerton-Rothesay School. The first phase is for 120 homes to be followed by a second phase of 60 further homes.

The exhibition will take place at Egerton Rothesay School between 2pm and 8pm on Tuesday 26 March.

We are very concerned that this total of 180 homes will dramatically change the character of Berkhamsted and will overwhelm the already stretched infrastructure.

We are also very concerned that this exhibition is being held before the Core Strategy has been approved and issued. We are trying to establish how this was allowed to happen.

It would be very helpful if as many residents as possible could attend this exhibition to see the proposals and make comments.
